Taking Charge of Your Health – Free 3-Part Webinar Series

Bridging Generations – Age Friendly Pakenham, in partnership with the Lanark Community Alliance and the Lanark, Leeds & Grenville Ontario Health Team, is presenting Taking Charge of Your Health, a free three-part webinar series designed to help people feel more informed, confident and engaged in their healthcare journey.

The series begins September 17 with Healthcare Advocacy 101, followed by Becoming an Engaged Partner in Your Care on October 15 and Navigating the Healthcare System on November 19. All webinars begin at 2:30 PM.

Participants can join online from home or attend a community viewing at the Almonte or Pakenham branches of the Mississippi Mills Public Library. Community viewing opportunities are also available at Carebridge – Stan Mills Lounge on selected dates.

The Lanark Community Alliance is a partnership of independent, not-for-profit organizations united by a shared commitment to improving the lives of the people they serve.

Together, LCA supports thousands of people and families across Lanark County through developmental services, community support, licensed childcare, affordable housing, and seniors’ services.

Carebridge Community Support connects and is a catalyst for fostering stronger, caring, person-centred communities across Lanark County by working together to meet the needs of seniors, adults with developmental disabilities and those who need affordable housing.

Community Living Association (Lanark County) is a charity supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities to enable and assist them to live a quality life in their community with dignity and respect.

Clayton Seniors Housing Corporation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing safe, affordable housing for local seniors. Incorporated in 1990, CSHC owns and operates the Linn Bower apartment building for seniors located in Clayton, Ontario.

Established in 1989, Tayside Community Residential and Support Options is a not-for-profit charitable organization serving Lanark County and area. Through developmental services, licensed childcare, affordable housing, and individualized supports, Tayside empowers children, adults, and families to live with greater independence, opportunity, and inclusion.
