New Program Launch: SeniorTech Connect

Bridging the Digital Divide for Seniors in Mississippi Mills

Carebridge Community Support is excited to launch SeniorTech Connect, a free program designed to empower adults aged 55+ with the digital skills they need to stay safe, independent, and connected in today’s online world.

With a warm, Internet Café-style approach, SeniorTech Connect offers seniors hands-on learning in a relaxed, supportive environment—no tech experience necessary!

This initiative is proudly funded by the Government of Ontario through the Seniors Community Grant Program, which supports local not-for-profit community groups and organizations deliver projects, supports and resources that help seniors stay active, socially connected, and engaged.

You’re Invited to Our First Information Session!

Time: 1 pm – 3pm

Location: Orchard View by the Mississippi in Almonte

Light refreshments will be served

This session will cover:

  • What the program includes
  • How to register for upcoming workshops
  • Devices and supports available to participants
  • Who’s leading the sessions and what to expect

You’ll also meet our friendly team, connect with others, and get answers to your questions.

What You’ll Learn

Through SeniorTech Connect, you’ll build confidence in:

  • Using email, video calls, and social media
  • Identifying scams and practicing online safety
  • Accessing health care, banking, and government services online
  • Navigating your own device or one provided by the program
  • Exploring hobbies, entertainment, and lifelong learning online

Clayton Seniors Housing Corporation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing safe, affordable housing for local seniors. Incorporated in 1990, CSHC owns and operates the Linn Bower apartment building for seniors located in Clayton, Ontario.

The Lanark Community Alliance represents a coming together of independent, non-profit community agencies united in their mission to improve the lives of those they serve in Lanark County. Our alliance is built upon collaboration, support, and a shared vision for inclusive, empowered communities. Together, our organizations employ over 300 people, welcome hundreds of volunteers and serve a diverse range of individuals and families.
