We’re looking for a Financial Analyst to join our growing finance team in this newly added role. Reporting to the Comptroller, this role offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting while gaining exposure to senior leadership and Board-level reporting.

What You’ll Do
- Contribute to the development of annual operating and capital budgets
- Maintain and enhance multi-year financial models and forecasts
- Monitor budget performance and provide clear, actionable variance analysis
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
- Prepare ad hoc reports to support sound decision making.
- Play a key role in month-end and year-end close processes
- Support external audits by preparing schedules and documentation
- Assist with regulatory filings and funder reporting requirements
- Improve and maintain financial models, templates, and reporting tools
- Support enhancements to accounting and reporting systems
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or accounting
- CPA designation (completed or in progress) is an asset
- Excellent knowledge in Microsoft office.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage or similar ERP systems)
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance individuals.
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
