We’re looking for a Financial Analyst to join our growing finance team in this newly added role. Reporting to the Comptroller, this role offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting while gaining exposure to senior leadership and Board-level reporting.

What You’ll Do

  • Contribute to the development of annual operating and capital budgets
  • Maintain and enhance multi-year financial models and forecasts
  • Monitor budget performance and provide clear, actionable variance analysis
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
  • Prepare ad hoc reports to support sound decision making.
  • Play a key role in month-end and year-end close processes
  • Support external audits by preparing schedules and documentation
  • Assist with regulatory filings and funder reporting requirements
  • Improve and maintain financial models, templates, and reporting tools
  • Support enhancements to accounting and reporting systems

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or accounting
  • CPA designation (completed or in progress) is an asset
  • Excellent knowledge in Microsoft office.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage or similar ERP systems)
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance individuals.
  • Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
